Malltraeth is located on the A4080 road on the south west of Anglesey, approximately 13 miles from the Britannia Bridge over the Menai Straits, exit 8A from the A55, or proceed to junction 6 and follow the A5 to the B4422, to the A4080. Malltraeth is on Bus route N42 from Bangor and Llangefni.

MalltraethYmlaen's meetings are usually held at the Bodorgan Community Centre, which is a part of the Bodorgan Community School complex, located on the junction of the B4422 with the A4080. Bodorgan Community Centre is also the registered office of Malltraeth Ymlaen 'cyf'.
