Dr Patrick J Kelly. Patrick Kelly was brought up in County Gallway, Eire and qualified as a Doctor at Dublin in the late 1930's. At the outbreak of the war he joined the RAF and served as a Medical Officer in the Western Desert. He moved to the Bodorgan area as the local 'GP' in 1948 and remained at the Parc Glas surgery until he retired in 1975. From retirement he joined the Royal Fleet Auxilliary, and served as Ship's Surgeon during the Falklands War aboard RFA Stromness.

Dr Desmond Crilly.This softly spoken gentleman,was held in high esteem within the local community, having
worked as a GP in the Parc Glas surgery from 1950 until his retirement in 1984. Sadly Dr Crilly died in 2009.

Dr Jack Edwards, Parc Glas- a native of Bryn Du. After service in the First World War with the Royal Welch Fusiliers, he attended Liverpool University, where he qualified as a Doctor in the late 1920's and then took over the Parc Glas practice. It was he that built the 'new' Parc Glas as both a home and surgery in 1938. Tragically he died suddenly in 1942, leaving Mrs M A Edwards as a young widow with three children. He is pictured above with his eldest son Raymond.
