Malltraeth Viaduct (Eric Jones). This 19 arch structure was brought into use in 1848, when the railway from Llanfairpwll to Holyhead was opened. The Masonary piers were built on a timber raft. It was strengthened in 1966, in order to carry Freightliner trains.
