PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WHILST THE SITE IS RE-BUILT. IT WILL BE A SLOW PROCESS BUT WORK HAS NOW COMMENCED.
Malltraeth was the village that the renowned wildlife painter Charles Tunnicliffe RA moved to in 1947, and established his studio, overlooking the Cefni Estuary.
Malltaeth Ymlaen is a BODORGAN community group, formed in January 2005, and reconstituted as a company limited by guarantee on the 16th August 2006. The objectives of the group are -
- To encourage participation in community projects
- To promote learning new skills for all
- To regenerate the community, and work on environmental projects-through working in partnership with other statutory bodies and agencies for the benefit of the public, and in particular the residents of Bodorgan and its hinterlands.
All members of the community are eligible members, and the activities of the group are the responsibility of the management committee, made up of 12 members. Committee members are nominated and elected at the annual general meeting, held in May/June, each member serving for a three year period, with four seats falling vacant annually.
Our logo was designed by one of the pupils at the Bodorgan Community School.
